Application range of stainless steel materials
Heat resistance
316 stainless steel has good oxidation resistance during intermittent use below 1600 degrees Celsius and continuous use below 1700 degrees Celsius. Do not continuously apply 316 stainless steel within the temperature range of 800-1575 degrees, but when continuously using 316 stainless steel outside this temperature range, it has good heat resistance. The resistance to carbide precipitation of 316L stainless steel is better than that of 316 stainless steel, which can be used within the above temperature range.
heat treatment
Anneal within the temperature range of 1850-2050 degrees, then rapidly anneal and then cool down. 316 stainless steel cannot be overheated for hardening.
welding
316 stainless steel has good welding performance. All standard welding methods can be used for welding. 316Cb, 316L, or 309Cb stainless steel filler rods or welding rods can be used for welding according to the purpose. To achieve good corrosion resistance, the welding section of 316 stainless steel needs to undergo post weld annealing treatment. If 316L stainless steel is used, post weld annealing treatment is not required.
Due to its excellent corrosion resistance, formability, compatibility, and strong toughness over a wide temperature range, stainless steel has been widely used in industries such as heavy industry, light industry, daily necessities, and building decoration.

Recovery and analysis of waste stainless steel
In China, the stainless steel resources are even more scarce. Every year, there is hardly any waste stainless steel that can be recycled. Because of the long service life of stainless steel, it will not be scrapped in several years or even decades. Therefore, the amount of scrap steel recovery is less. Therefore, a large part of China's waste stainless steel recycling depends on imports.
